If it has a NEW tag, I usually mute it.

@TexChik really? Why

@Moneyonmymind Most are alts or bots. There seem to be 5 or so standard themes when they first post. Very few post anything of interest, as you would expect from a normal adult. Everyone knows this site has been hemorrhaging quality members since they instituted the downvote. Just guessing, I would say that there is a concerted effort to expand the membership roster, on paper anyway. Something about them isn't right, and when the admin made a particular effort to protect them and not us, it seemed suspicious. Lots of sexual deviants, kinksters, poor me's , venters, and the like were never posted, here before. As for the alts, I have blocked many of them before. How do I know? I either recognized their prose or just flat-out asked them. Those who run the site in the owner's absence are not conservative. For instance, I get reported and punished if I call a lib who is being ugly a "Lib-tard". Most of the so-called NEWbys know that and have pointed it out to me. If they were new, how would they know? When I asked them that, suddenly, the entire post and our responses in it disappeared, and that NEW user's name also disappeared from existence. Who has the power to do that? So, no, I do not trust them and block any of them that hit my profile. I always found it interesting that NEW accounts with no or low views, no pfp, no posts, and no gifts always viewed my profile. Once I started blocking ...it stopped.
