When you sign up with your email is it made public, so anyone can see it, and contact you? Never mind. It’s moot now.

You can create a "burner" email address in just a few minutes with gmail and use that address and name to skulk around on X

Thanks! I’ll try that. I already have a couple, but maybe I can have another. I don’t want my main emails public so any Tom, Dick, and Harry can contact me. I can set a new one to trash incoming. @TexChik
