When I report someone, and SW tells me we sent them a notification but don't worry we didn't say it was you.. Are they suggesting that I am a wuss?

It's protection. Some people can go bully people if they find out who reported them.

Some people are incredibly vindictive. And folks do bully by the use of alts and even sic’ing other posters on people.
