Why do you follow people here you don't interact with?

It sucks having to use your follower blocks on people who just seem to add every person

Some people may just want to keep up on your content.
How many people actually message someone they may follow on other social media?

@chrisCA yes but it's a bit different here at an anonymous site. For instance on Facebook I would only ever add people I actually know in real life and then it would make sense to follow them and what they post because I actually know them. At a place like here if you don't interact with a person what's the point

@SW-User Maybe it's just me, but I don't worry about stuff like that.
Being straight male, over the age of 50, we probably get the least amount of attention on this site. 😅

@chrisCA yes unfortunately us women folk get some creepy unwanted attention sometimes and it calls for being cautious
