Appreciation post

So i threw my hat in on the pride flag thing and now time to do the same for Appreciation posts since I have seen several lately.

Here is appreciation for those willing to always speak their mind here and not caring in the least when others are so fragile that they try attacking and accusing you of all ridiculous things like the classics such as Racist, Homophobic and so on because they can not handle others who do not think identically to them.
I appreciate you all.

If everyone had the exact same thoughts, this site would be a complete and utter bore

@BohemianBabe no surprise you would hate this mate. You certainly dont like others thinking different to yourself. I am afraid by replying you will try turning this into a left vs right bullshit convo like you always do 🤣
@Torsten My dude, you literally just copy and paste transphobic talking-points, then brag about how you think for yourself.
If you like being transphobic, okay, good luck with all that. But you certainly don't think for yourself.
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@BohemianBabe you keep using that word like you know what it means. Phobic, derived from phobia is an extreme irrational fear of something. My dude i can assure you we're not afraid. We just dont believe trans is a thing, because its not.
@JestAJester There's absolutely no rational reason to believe that people can't be trans. But there are emotional reasons and they're based on fear.
It's the same thing with homophobia.
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@BohemianBabe again. Not afraid of gays. Might wanna use a different term to describe what you mean. And yes there is a rational reason. Biology.
@JestAJester Nope, we already established that there's a difference between sex and gender.
Trans people change their gender, which has nothing to do with biology.

@BohemianBabe never gonna drop it are ya? Welp not gonna stop me from calling them what they are. Not calling a transwoman a woman and vice versa. It shall be him and her respectively. No they/them, no ze/zer. If you wanna be called something other than what you are, best play DnD with the other fantasy craved nerds
@JestAJester Hey, you can deny reality if you want. You can be a dick to trans people if you want.
I'm just saying that this weird desire to reject reality in order to justify being a dick is coming from a place of fear.
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@BohemianBabe lol im still confused on the fearful part. Not like i see a tranny walk in the store and cower in fear behind the clothing rack
Torsten · 36-40, M
@BohemianBabe haha didn't take long for someone to bring up trans people and me being transphobic. How on earth do you all twist a thread that had nothing to do with trans people to be all about them? maybe you're the transphobic one here because you seem to obsess over them enough
@JestAJester Well it's not always fear that the person is going to like beat you up or something. It's usually fear in that it forces you to reexamine your own identity.
A common cause of homophobia is the fear of being gay. A straight man will have a dream about being with another man, and even though he really is straight, he'll panic that he might be gay. And really, nobody is 100% straight or gay, so a dream like that is normal, but he'll obsess over those feelings. And that fear will lead to a hatred of gay people, because their existence reminds him that he could be gay.
It's the same thing with transphobia. Nobody is 100% gender-conforming. So a cis man might panic because he remembers that one time he played with dolls as a kid.

Of course, this is also a result of the right-wing establishment using LGBT people as a scapegoat for the failures of Capitalism. Basically, they're using fear to distract you from actual problems.
@Torsten Deflection. My point was about you just parroting talking-points.

@BohemianBabe too long didn't read

Ding Ding Ding!! we have a winner. Here comes the left vs right bullshit convo you always start no matter the topic
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@Torsten gotta stop getting dragged in this stuff. Hes just a kid after all. Sort of typical of his generation
@Torsten It was literally related to the point that JestAJester made.
@JestAJester Deflection.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@JestAJester easier said than done. they live for this and pounce on any opportunity to twist conversations to revolve around their warped views and when you dont go along with it, the childish name calling starts but again that is what happens when children dont get their way afterall
Torsten · 36-40, M
@BohemianBabe no you mentioned trans people out of no where and twisted that into left vs right bullshit. Dont try passing blame onto another. You do this all the time
@Torsten You're just focusing on trans people now as a way to get around my point about you parroting talking-points.
Stop being such a beta boy.
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@Torsten its all good. There some good news, been reading reports more and more people are calling each other out on this bs. Some are cracking down on teaching this nonsense in school. Dailywire is full of people exposing the absurdity. Itll get better i think
Torsten · 36-40, M
@BohemianBabe did you bring up trans people in this thread when no one even mentioned them? yes or no
Torsten · 36-40, M
@JestAJester i really hope so. Things need to change before they get worse
