I appealed a violation notice on quora and my comment was restored....

It was one of those really stupid quora partner questions and my comment was something along the lines of "he couldn't possibly be that stupid, must be a quora partner". I got dinged for being rude but I appealed with " That was meant as a compliment. Seriously, quora needs to clean this place up". I'm amazed that worked.

@Spoiledbrat There's some good content there but Quora really screwed up when they started paying people to ask questions.

@Spoiledbrat There are people knowledgeable on a variety of subjects. I see a lot of religious questions and occasionally learn something from those I was unaware of. I also have a contact who was born in Latvia (I think...) and moved to Israel when she was relatively young. Her perspective on the situation between Russia and Ukraine is usually interesting as is her perspective on the mid east.

I do enjoy learning from people. I think I just prefer a more laid back atmosphere. @robb65
