Why are some people here so serious?

@Magenta Some people usually like to have fun or joke around because they have understood that not everything needs to be taken seriously; that it is important to laugh out at our own problems and move positively towards making a change. They don't like to worry too much or get stressed mentally. They like to take it easy.

Yes, everyone has a different personality and if some serious souls don't like something, they should just simply ignore it, but there are some people who love to read too much into nothing and argue over futile things.

@Magenta Well, reality is unavoidable but some of us choose to make fun and light of the hardships to help us cope with the stress.
Kind of like nervous laughter.

@Magenta You would be surprised to know that people who are usually quite funny are also the ones who face the harshest realities of life. So that would be a judgmental statement to make by calling them escapists. The only difference is we don't cry over it and make a fuss about it - it is way too easy to be sad, but it takes a lot of refinement to be able to laugh out the problems and move forward positively.

I like to try and keep a good balance of humour and maturity . Like they say there’s a time and place for everything right 😊. This place (the public message boards portion especially)for me is mostly being humours ,on my part anyway . With that I’d also like to say ,we’re living in a time where we all need that extra bit of humour to help us get through .. Can’t speak for everyone though @SW-User

@SW-User Very well said. I use the public message boards for a little bit of perspective and humour. And then the reactions are some times unexpected. I agree on the balance.
