If it’s a new one it’s usually someone trying to get money.

this is not an issue that I face.

The vast majority of my notifications are from people I know, and with whom I have had private conversations in the past. And yes, I am happy when I see I have a notification, because I enjoy talking with them.

Every now and then I get a more suspicious kind of message, and I just ignore those.
