Super Bowl LX

Time to discuss. Who do you like and why? I think on paper Seattle is the better team but I still don’t trust Darnold when it’s all on the line. Your thoughts?

It's been on the line, non-stop, leading to the playoffs, and through the playoffs.

Picking the Seahawks even if the team has to go through the NFL Commission's "who's my daddy" drama.

@Northwest true but I feel he had a bad game last year in playoffs after a very good season. This is the big one. But you are right it’s hard to find fault in him right now. Okay you talked me into betting the house on them! lol.

The Seahawks took a major risk and it's paying off. They now have Darnold for two more years, when he's at the top of his career, for $27.5M with an injury guarantee of $17.5M for the first year and if he's still performing, year 2 is at the Seahawks discretion $35.5M making the Seahawks a Super Bowl contender for Feb 2027 and Feb 2028.

If the weather holds, we should have a day off and a parade on Feb 10, and with some luck no rain (ok, a lot of luck), which would be a hell of a lot better than near 0F during the first victory parade.

@Northwest I also fear it looks too good. The Patsy’s really had an easy road to the Ship. Easiest sched then faced Chargers, weakest playoff team, Texans missing their top 2 offensive players and CJ had worst game of his career, and of course the Denver blizzard game which they would have lost if not for one very bad mistake by Broncs QB.

For a backup QB, he did well, but not good enough.

The Seahawks certainly had a much tougher journey through the Playoffs, but I remain very hopeful. I'm sure Brady is not going to resist making comments about his deflated balls.
