Belgium had it's chances... but Italy also could have more goals.
And what safe by the keeper in the first half. That was made goal, and he stretches himself to just get it out of the corner. What a safe.

@Kwek00 Very possibly. They are the best unit based on performances so far and controlled the game today. I had some doubts as to whether they could dominate the ball against a big team but they did that and were deserved winners.

I think Belgium could have [i]maybe [/i] won this contest if they had turned up in perfect condition. Injury problems for De Bryne and Hazard took your team down a level. De Bryne played but was not good and I reckon not 100%

@Burnley123 Aperently he played with an injury today, at least that is what he says in the dutch interview. What is a pitty, is that they didn't have one team that they played really good football against. I still think they had some good performances, but it never really went over the top. And Italy was just better today. There were mistakes in the back and they got punished. Italy was outstanding today and they have been outstanding and one of the most enjoyable teams to watch the entire tournament. I hope they keep it up, because this is good football to watch, if they win like this, they deserved it big time.

@Kwek00 Belgium is a good team but was at absolute peak three years ago. To still be a champion team you needed everyone fit and on form because the backup is a big step down.

England has more strength in depth, especially in midfield and attack. We haven't played great football but we difficult to play against. It might be enough but I do agree Italy is the favourite.
