I Like The Premier League Football

Lets sum the results of the English teams in Europe the past week.
Manchester City , Liverpool & Spurs did very well and play their 2nd game at home in the UK.
Chelsea did as well as they could against Barcelona at Stamford Bridge, though their chances to advance to the Quarter Finals are slim.
Manchester United had a tough game against Seville in Spain but stand a chance with the 2nd game being at home at the Old Trafford.
Arsenal moved on the next round of the Europa League though they lost their home game they were expected to win.
All in all the English Premier League teams are having a great season in Europe !!!

It's always a battle !
Italian and Spanish clubs often fair better. Personally I think because the majority of their players are home grown and so seem to have better understanding of each other, maybe.
But you're right ! Tiny England punches well above it's weight !
@Picklebobble2 that's one of the problems in the Premier League, and it's a shame because many good British players don't get to play.
A good example is Ben Woodburn of Liverpool.

@BridgeOvertroubledWaters Yep. Spurs have a squad full of them !
It's going to be interesting once we get home.
Pochetino has been pretty frugal with his buys up to now. Picked up some good ones too !
Question is. Can he do the same with the next level up of player once that kind of money becomes available ?
Yes it will be.
