Agreed. However, that penalty should never have been awarded, but there was no need for Senegal to walk off the pitch; I mean how old are they?

At the same time, I also lost all sympathy for Morocco after Diaz's shameful and disrespectful Panenka. He just wanted to rub Senegal's noses in it; instead, he's now a pariah and is going to live with the fact that he cost his country their first AFCON title since the 70s - AND on home soil! - for the rest of his life. And he deserves it.

No. He tried to play it cool after all that chaos. It was unfortunate his anxiety got the best of him. Can’t you see all his tears and sadness, even when he received the Golden Boot award as the top scorer. We Moroccans forgive him

Lol you sound like you hold a personal grudge against him 😅
Trust me, no player in his shoes would want to miss that penalty. He wanted to score with every fiber in his being. He was one of the main reasons we reached the final. Anyways, he’s still young. Hopefully he will make up for it ✌🏽

@Nunki I don't hold a personal grudge, although I believe Senegal were the best team throughout. But I'm sorry, there is no reason whatsoever to try a Panenka, unless you're showing off.
