They are a super-power fallen on hard times.
Years and years of poor leadership by the Glazer family have left them with an over-paid and imbalanced squad. No other big European club spends so much money and gets such little value for it. Sure, Ten Haag has made some mistakes but he's basically having to pull together a dysfunctional club structure from the coach's dugout. Last season he managed it but this time no so much.

@Burnley123 I tend to think that they should have given David Moyes a bigger chance instead of sacking him because he didn't win trophy's in his first season. The club seems to act as if it is entitled to win things.
