Looking forward to the France/England game. I don't understand why the last second penalty kick was replayed, after the French goalie blocked it.

@LizOwen the kicker stopped then kicked the ball and keeper saved it
Had to retake it

@LizOwen @Strictmichael75 I am new to watching soccer. The kicker made a motion as if he was going to kick, but then stopped, tricking the goalie into making a move, a split second before the actual kick.

@Northwest I didn't watch that game, but it seems that the ref made him retake the penalty for some infringement. The England - France game could be a cracker. There are centuries of history between the two nations.
