Netherlands against the USA today

I was not going to make any more WC predictions, but I shall.
Netherlands to win by two goals.
There - so far I have not got a single prediction correct, so that should give the USA a boost!

In the other game, Argentina to beat Australia
Go on, Aussie!

Netherlands may win, but not by two goals. US defense is solid. If Argentina is on they should crush the Aussies. But this has been a weird WC .

@luckranger71 The Netherlands has been poor so far, but if they show their talent they could rip the US apart. Two goals could be a conservative figure. The gloves may be off at this second stage of the competition. I hope the Aussies hold Argentina to a moderate score.

@LizOwen The Netherlands faced some good sides. Ecuador as always was super underrated and messed up getting to the round of 16. They should win, but I'd be shocked if they win by 3 goals. And I'll be back to talk s—t if they don't 😂

@luckranger71 They won without showing any class. Ecuador is an average South American side, while the USA didn't face anybody of any consequence. I expect a poor game with lots of huff and puff from the USA and the Netherlands to hit on the break and score at least two.

@LizOwen Wales was completely outclassed by the US and bailed out by a stupid defensive move by a US sub. The greatest England team in the last 50 years (allegedly) was played to a standstill. Blah Blah. You sound like a typical European soccer snob. Glad Germany is eliminated.

@luckranger71 Wales were shockingly poor in all their games. Before the WC, England have lost their last six or seven games and Iran are a very average side.
We are all glad that Germany are out! So are Belgium of course.
