Good start to the World Cup for the Home Nations

England, after a run of bad results, found form when it mattered. Six two is a good result.
Wales played terribly in the first half but recovered in the second. They did well. If they play against Iran as they did in the second half, they should win.
That last US foul was as cynical as any I've seen. The American should have been sent off.

@senghenydd If Wales do that, they're in with a shout. Anything can happen when Wales play England, although I think - and hope - England will be too strong for them. England should take the USA without too much difficulty. Iran - USA could be fun to watch.

@LizOwen I think Wales learned from their poor first half against the USA, there's no room for any errors at these games, I honestly think Wales can beat Iran I'm not changing my mind on that, England are really good and could go a long way, even go on and win this tournament they are that good.

@senghenydd I hope you are correct with Wales. I'll reserve judgement on England until I've seen some of the other hot-weather teams play. One swallow does not make a summer.
