Hard to say really in the immediate sense. Only two teams in Scotland could be EPL level. Any given Celtic or Rangers team i think could range from midtable to relegation. The thing I'm more sure about is if Celtic and Rangers were in the EPL then the change in finances would eventually see them get higher and higher up the table. The size of the two clubs combined with the insane money pumped into the EPL should make them much better provided no financial mismanagement (can't rule that out with Rangers).
The US teams I can't seriously comment on. I watch a little bit and was delighted watching Celtic manager Ronny Delia win the MLS cup last season. My first assumption is that none at the moment have the quality to be in the EPL (the geography would also make that very weird). That is just an assumption based on limited viewing though and I know I don't like people with no knowledge commenting on our teams.
