Think the decision would have been taken after the Norwich defeat , the team looked flat and lacking ideas against a team below them , I admire Burnley and Sean Dyche for the tremendous achievements over the past nine years and hope they can somehow pull off a Great escape in the remaining eight games .

@skimpyboy Results have been bad but very few Burnley fans think that it's Dyche's fault.

@Burnley123 it has been a season of more lows than highs ,after beating Everton I did think the team should have gone to Norwich with enough motivation to put in a one hundred per cent committed performance and that day the players threw the manager under the bus .
The squad is in need of major investment and time has caught up with a few players and midfield is an area of concern for any Burnley fan.

@skimpyboy The midfield is the weakest in the league but that is not Dyche's fault. The previous board went through years of underinvestment and let the squad grow old together.

@Burnley123 fully agree ,think the previous board did not have any money to invest in players ,saying that are the new American owners willing to splash the cash ? That might be dependent on what league they are in next season.

@skimpyboy TBF, the player recruitment under Alan Pace has improved.

Cone, Weghorst, Collins and Roberts have all been decent signings who improved the squad.

It's too little, too late though. Two good transfer windows can't compensate for doing nothing for the previous three years. It's an old squad, with obvious weak areas.
