my late Husband always placed a bet with Ladbrokes on England to win by 2 clear goals, I decided to put the same bet on England to beat Tunisia by 2 clear goals, they told me they couldn't accept that bet but they would accept by 2 and a half goals yes 2 and a half goals, is there something else I don't know about?

The margin with a half point means you win or lose. :) if it's two even, then that's a draw in the betting. apart from that, not much else I think.

@Brenda I think you needed to bet on 1.5 goals because that would require 2 clear goals to win (seeing half a goal doesnt exist, e.g. 3-1 or 2-0). The bet you've made, England need to make 3 clear goals (e.g. 4-1) to win.

I'm not a bettor, so I'm just trying to work from arithmetic principles, I have to say
