This is at the least very sad and at worst straight up evil (however I’m a firm believer in know your surroundings and the “rules” (no matter how archaic and inhumane) and act accordingly no matter what!! I really feel sad for the family of Grant Wahl in their time of grief. I don’t think it’ll ever be truly known if foul play was involved in his death. I’m very glad that he felt supportive of his brother to wear his beliefs on his T-Shirt but I don’t think it was a good idea to make himself a target for the ire of the “morality police” and I know that he’s wasn’t a rookie foreign correspondent and traveler but I believe he drew unnecessary attention and criticism from the host nations security staff that is known for intolerance of things that we take for granted in the western world in general. Sad 😔
