Chiefs fans - how are we feeling?

Ok, I am a Chiefs fan and I understand a lot of people don’t like them because they keep winning 🤣

Something feels different to me this season, now granted I am girl and have never played but it looks different. Even though we only lost two games and one was because we didn’t play a lot of our important players. Am I the only fan who is thinking this?

A few wins were like divine intervention :) like skin of their teeth wins where the kick bounced off the goal post and IN rather than out? Or the end zone catch with the foot a micrometer on the boundary?

Was the loss yesterday because of protecting and rest of star players or was it to avoid having to possibly play the Bengals?

@Heartlander oh I didn’t even consider that! I’m glad they didn’t make the playoffs!!

@SatinPetals yea, the loss to Denver was the block to keep the Bengals out of the playoffs. The Bengals had finally gotten their act together and surging. Not many teams wanted to have to face them in the playoffs. But that means that the Chiefs may have to face Denver and Nix again.

I’m also a big Chiefs fan, but maybe a bigger Bengals fan.

@Heartlander they played amazing for sure. The Broncos are much improved but I’d definitely rather face them than the Bengals

@SatinPetals yes, sad to see the Bengals come this close and not make it. But now 100% behind the Chiefs. I’m an old LSU fan and well remember when Burrow trotted on the field as LSU starting QB in 2018.

Clyde Edwards was also on that magical team, along with Jordan Jefferson and Ja’marr Chase. Sad to see Clyde being cut from the Chiefs, but both sides handled it sensitively. He’s now on the Saints practice squad and where the fans will shower him with love and help him overcome the PTSD issue.
