i want to learn about football

I'm trying to learn football for my boyfriend so I could really use some help rn. I have no idea how it works. All I know is that he loves liverpool. Please help me out if you guys can or you can also tell me about YouTube channels/link to any articles which can help me understand football. Thank you : )
