A great day out today with my 11 year old grandson and his dad at Ipswich to see them demolish Charlton Athletic 6 - 0! Treated to the ticket and my grandson was over the moon with the result.
League 1, just the third tier of English soccer beneath the Premier League and Championship, but a full house of 29,000 and a great atmosphere.
One for the memory. Remembering an uncle who loved the club and died far too soon, who had often taken my grandson to Ipswich.

I saw Ipswich a few times, way back in the Phillips and Crawford days. Against my team Brighton. Ipswich always won. But now Brighton is playing great stuff and surprising everyone, especially their fans who have to keep pinching themselves. Good luck in your promotion push!
