The way to a man (or, I'd hazard a guess, woman's) heart is to take an interest in which teams they support. Especially if you're not really that bothered with that particular sport.
I'm not really a soccer gal, although I'll watch a game if it's on TV (probably put on by my fella! Lol!), and he takes me to matches....
But he likes that I follow - with him - his team, which in my Matt's case is Nottingham Forest, because supporting them means that I'm supporting him.
