Soccer World Cup is in few days: are you gonna watch it

I find it weird how many people watch it, sports exist to practice it not to watch it.
It's pathetic how all these people cram unhealthy foods,beers, smoke... while watching sports games calling themselves fans

Like good job,they're stealing your money while they get healthy and wealthy!
No wonder why sports players are paid so much! They play an important role in this hidden agenda ! And you sit there eating and wishing you were a Ronaldo or Jordan.
Shame on this industry!😷

The football world cup is, I believe, the biggest sporting occasion next to the Olympics. It is an amazing spectacle of a world wide phenomenon that began with works teams in England and Scotland in the 19th century.
The game, in different forms, was played all over Europe but the first known rules were written in Scotland in 1833. Now - it's spoiled by huge money and big business. As always, when the money men get their claws on things, corruption and greed spoil what was a game for the ordinary person.
It's a shame.

I agree and the players have become rude, unsportsmanlike and aggressive with each other and in particular the ref compare with how the rugby players behave and they are worlds apart. The ref in a rugby match tells a player off and they shake his hand @LizOwen
