LOL! The best thing about being in your cups is that at the height of doing something really stupid, you think it's either funny or a good thing to do or that you think you look cute and sexy while doing it. All of which explodes into a total embarrassing bust once you sober up.

Oh, geeezz, dear lord, cut your poor creatures some slack, love us for the idiots we are!

Yeppers, the Vikings colonized several regions of Ireland beginning in the 9th to 10th century or thereabouts. After a few centuries they became totally absorbed into the Irish culture. Similar things happened to other Viking tribes such as those who settled in France. They became the Normans who conquered Britain in 1066. Other places as well...such as Spain and Russia. Their community groups were marked by folks with fair hair and blue eyes, nasty tempers, and very mixed results for getting that GQ / Cosmo magazine front cover tan.
