My uncle was an engineer on a destroyer over in the pacific in WWII. He was in shore on an island that the US had just recaptured. Japanese soldiers were put into concrete bunkers on the beach. He overheard the comander tell one of the people ti "Secure the Guard". The man said,"Yes Sir." And immediately went to each bunker and lobbed grenades into them.
