I have. And smoked my own rolled cigs with a filter.
Chewing? The taste and spitting is disgusting.
I only do one cig a day now. It's more like a memorial than needed.

A real corn cob pipe? How was it?
My late wife had one cigarette every morning. I thought she was the only human being who could do that.
I finally quit Feb 8, 2005 (would've been my mother's 100th birthday).

@rinkydinkydoink Yes a real corn cob. Smoked the same as any other pipe.
Vickie and I smoked way too much before she passed. When I had a stroke 6 weeks later to the day she passed I had a miraculous recovery. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital without them and ripped off the nicotine patch the third night because I had nightmares.
My neighbor was taking care of my dog the whole time and I decided to let him stay there a few more days while grew accustomed to getting around the house and dealing with the cats.
When my neighbor brought my dog in he was excited for several hours to be home.
We have a raised closed in porch entry Vickie and I spent most of our time in.
So when I let the dog out I sit there and smoke half a cig while he's out and the other half the last time he goes out for the night. It sorta one of those things that keeps Vickie with me.

We used to make them! There were certain bushes that had a pithy centre in the branches so they were hollowed out for the stem.

Excellent! How did you manage to do that? I finally quit when I was sick in bed and couldn't smoke... last day was Feb 8, 2005.
