@beermeplease i actually remember you saying you quit cold turkery. This new info changes everthing.
i would like to resubmit my answer changing it to give it back to him.
You need to give him back the cigarette and as you pass it to him talk about how your mother died and how painful it was to see that for the both of you .
hand him that stupid cancer stick as a symbol of him owning the process of smoking until he dies like your mom did (sorry for your loss) or makes a drastic change (which may be too late) to attempt to thwart that ending.
@beermeplease this is rather a bad temptation it is up to you to have the courage too stick too you guns and say no i do not or do not want or even need this cigarette
@robertsnj i quit cold turkey...it was easier than i thought. i think it had to do with my dad harping on me for years to quit. and then finally one day after work i was done and threw away the rest of my pack. my brother had quit 3 times before but started back again...all had to do with women he met that smoked (idiot 🙄) he said he will quit when he gets back from vacation in a few weeks. had i still been a smoker up until 2022 i would have quit when i saw how my mom died from smoking...it was horrible.
@TheOthetAcc i've had ample amount of times to start up again when partying with smokers. i'm quite proud of myself that i haven't even had a drag in 16 years
Sixteen years is a great achievement ! I’m amazed you could have someone smoking in your home. Above all, don’t smoke it. If it’s just one cigarette, I would toss it.
@bijouxbroussard yeah i'm easy going and i don't care if someone has the odd smoke in my home. i think i'll have some fun with it. i will see him tomorrow and when i show up at his place i'll have it in my mouth but not lit... i wanna see the look on his face 🤪
