Sounds could be the start of throat cancer.

A friend if mine from years back. Had the same signs. He ignored it, till it was too late. Turned out it was throat cancer believed from chewing tobacco

He is dead now, he died before he was 30

Don't be like my friend. Get it checked out ASAP

Maybe get chest X-ray 🤔

At your age, it is probably nothing.

Might be time to drop the habit so you do not end up a life long smoker.

@deathfairy I mean even if he has smoked since he was like 11, (some do start that early), any sort of serious problems would not typically develop by age 18 to 21, assuming that is the real age bracket.

I would think if it were an isolated incident, it is probably just dry throat or something.

BUT, I am no doctor.

@jnrycrre It ain't easy but the important thing is - do NOT tell yourself "Just one cigarette" because then you just relapse. I know....

@CestManan copy🫡 i didn't smoke even one stick today, pure water hydrating my throat

@jnrycrre It is a process but when you notice you do not have to go through a nasty coughing spell each morning, that alone makes it worth it. AND you will notice you have money that wasn;t there before.

Yeah, best thing you can do is quit smoking and go see a doctor and tell them about the morning routine, coughing up blood and the rusty color.

I was a smoker for 18 years and I started developing emphysema. Once I quit smoking, the everyday coughing stopped.

If you're being serious, and I'm not sure that you are, blood is most always something you want to pay attention to.

You are young but I’d say you should get it checked out, just to be sure.

Any age, for anyone reading this

Go see a doctor and stop smoking.

That doesn’t sound good 😬 I smoke too so I’m used to coughing up brown stuff, but definitely not blood
twiigss · M
@kylee1992 That's not good either. I was never coughing up brown stuff when I smoked, but I'm glad I quit.
ur probably getting a throat injury and should stop smoking immediately. you can permanently damage ur vocal cords, throat muscles, and nerves…?
jnrycrre · M
@deathfairy doing it rn no smoke maybe this is just a throat injury i hope so, and im taking otc antibiotics
