@Silverwings Institutional Christianity told me that being transgender was a sin. That who I was would send me headlong into damnation. That I would never be the woman that my friends and loved ones know me to be. It made me hate myself and estranged my from the people who gave birth to me. It has taken me over a decade to even start on recovering from the trauma caused by what the Church taught me.

@Silverwings I would suggest you do more research into the science behind gender dysphoria and the treatment that doctors have for it nowadays. And know that it doesn't matter what happened to you as a kid, being transgender is not wrong, and can happen to any person, no matter what kind of environment they were raised in.

@ChubbyCheesecake I love you no matter who you are or what you do! We don't go to heaven because we do this or that but because Jesus loves us and died for all our sins no matter what we have done.
