I Think Marijuana Should Be Legalized

No doubt it will be abused. Two years ago I would have been the last one to recommended it. 50+ years of non-stop chronic migraines, trying every medicine, western and eastern medicine, vitamins, supplements and the list goes on. Nothing worked. I've tried every migraine med available and every "sure cure" with no success. CBD with some THC got my migraines under control. I got approved for medical cannabis about a year go. My monthly med expenses went from $5000 to about $100 with medical cannabis. It works for me.

The cannabinoids (not " marijuana" but certain extracts from it) are mainly just analgesic.

Had you undergone a more thorough investigation to see if the migraines are actually a symptom of something else?

I ask that from the similar experiences of a woman with whom I worked for some years.

@ArishMell Personally, I have tried every possible prescription, been to many doctors, western and eastern medicine, tried every holestic approaches I could find, bio feedback, spent weeks in hospitals and the only thing that works for me is a combination of CBD and THC.

@luv2fish OK. Thank you.

My colleague was eventually found to have had a non-malignant brain tumour: it was removed and the headaches vanished.

@ArishMell That's great news for her!

@luv2fish It was, but it happened I think only because her GP thought to investigate further, and referred her to a specialist.

@ArishMell I've been to some of the best neurologists specializing in migraines. Most of my migraines are food related triggered. However, the extremely long list if migraine meds that I've used over the years are pretty much worthless. Medical cannabis is the only thing that has worked.
