I Think Weed Should Be Legal For All

Recreational weed is legal in my state and I love it. It's so much cheaper in dispensaries, even with the tax, and you know what you're getting. It helps my migraines a lot too, it's the only thing that has really helped actually. And I think that the only reason it's a "gateway drug" is because you have to get involved with shady people to buy it when it isn't legal... with it legalized, that problem is out of the equation.

i wish it was here.. then i could grow it and use it in our foodstuff also and distill it for concentrate and utilize the enzymes for pain maintenance w/o the 'active' affair that comes with the toke.

if we want that we'll do that too but, it has sooo many properties to it that would do soooooo much for those in dire need of an alternative to health basis in the way we try to do palliative care, for starters and dietary!

@sighmeupforthat It's legal here now but you still can't grow, buy or sell it. So I don't know how you're supposed to get it. I'd like to grow it commercially but have to wait for the new legislation.

@sighmeupforthat I used to clean house for someone who paid me with "special" cookies. That was pretty awesome, they were super yummy. Too bad he moved to another state.

@MeisterAndrew In what way is it legal then? 🤔 In my state it was legalized about 2 years ago and now there are dispensaries all over the place, like in my town (population 11k) we have 4 of them. You just go in and buy it with cash, they all have menus with dozens of different strains, it's seriously awesome. I qualify for medical because of my headaches, but it's so cheap now to buy it recreationally that it isn't worth paying the fees for the medical MJ card just to not pay the 25% tax.

@Purplepanda The high court has ruled it unconstitutional to criminalise use and possession. But it's still a grey area until parliament enacts new legislation and police catches up so you can't go around carrying and using it in public.

@MeisterAndrew Oh, I understand. You're referring to it having been federally decriminalized. Versus actually being legal to buy and use.

@Purplepanda I don't really know how things work in the States. Here it's the second highest court that's decriminalised its use but until the actual laws change it's a grey area though most courts will probably adhere to the ruling.
