I Support the Legalization of Marijuana

Actually, since it's been legalized here in California, things have, at least in a practical sense, gone downhill for many users. I vape it mostly due to how it helps my arthritis (it replaced several other meds).

But...now, since the state law was changed, all the little communities out here in the desert have made it illegal inside their city limits, thus making it necessary to drive 20-30 miles to obtain it in cities like San Bernardino and Riverside.

Not only that, but legalization has raised the prices quite a bit because the legal sellers now have to pay various taxes and licensing fees.

So...either I have to put a lot of mileage on my old car, take a long boring drive on the freeway, and pay a lot more than I have paid in recent years....or go underground to find a new source.

The latter, of course, has been the decision of most aging pensioned arthritic hippies. And that's what I have had to do.

After a few phone calls, I was able to locate a new source. I drove about 3 miles into a questionable neighborhood and located the given address...

And I burst out laughing. This place could be described very loosely as a very rundown boarded up building. I could not see any doors or windows. I drove around back...the asphalt turned to weedy bumpy dirt.

I parked and one glance at the dilapidated building started me laughing again...to say this building (or shack!) was a mess was an understatement.

I could not at first figure out how anyone could actually enter this questionable structure since I saw no doors or windows.

Then I saw It. A patch of black...was it a door? Just as the question crossed my mind, I saw that some helpful person had scrawled in chalk the word DOOR on it. Now I was laughing again.

It had a metal drawer handle for a handle. I pulled and it opened.

The inside was a pleasant unexpected surprise; it was very clean, refurbished, newly painted and decorated tastefully. And the product (a refill for my vape pen) was less expensive than what I'd paid the previous month at a medical marijuana dispensary.

So, in conclusion: Thank you to the kindly stranger who marked the door DOOR for those of us who might well have felt a little unsure of this situation.

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON Try the Tools for Freedom catalog for theCBD.
@greenmountaingal Ok. Thank you very much.
I am going to Goolge that.

By summer here in Canada I can grow my own weed.
I just wonder if I can purchase the seed for a really high CBD content.

Would you know about any reliable weed seed suppliers?

I can google that too, but I prefer to have first hand support in this undertaking :)

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON Maybe one of these days I'll ask about over at the D-O-O-R.
@greenmountaingal
Try the Tools for Freedom catalog for theCBD.
The only have OIL CBD, no seed.

Oh, I googled CBD seeds and for 9$ US I'd get a referral to European companies...🤔😕

What do you think is that a safe bet to give them my money?

Hugs, Luna.

Not really sure about that. Sorry, wish I could help. I'll keep asking around.
@greenmountaingal Please don't be sorry.
From what I have gleaned: We have some similar situations.
1- We have chronic pain and/or health conditions.

2-Also, we are kind of isolated from (some of) our family.
Or just not on good terms with them altogether. And some are our former abusers/ our trauma makers.

Anyhow, this is a kind of cool Pot site.

[c=#005E2F]https://www.leafly.com/[/c]

It gives the many strains of pot and also when you do the search parameters and where you live it tells you where is a dispensary.

Unfortunately, it doesn't list the dispensaries which are lower costing to people on fixed incomes.
I mean, the hidden dispensaries, as this one in your post suggest.
I LOVE that idea ! 💡😀
I am one of those fixed income people
and as I understand, you are also.

Hugs and love, Luna. 🌹🌈🐋💗

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON You have to ask around. Get to talking with people at legal shops and dispensaries and ask and sometimes you can find a better source. What state or area are you in?
@greenmountaingal Thank you!

I am going to PM you in a bit, OK dear.
I need to feed my fur babies 🤗💞😍.

Hugs, L.
