Man, head doctors really like to dole out the meds don't they?

Talk to this doctor one time, and she wants me on three medications for cptsd and bipolar. Seperate from a benzodiazepine for panic. My primary called me like...."are you sure you want this". The pharmacist was like, "yeah it's alot she tends to do this, are you sure you're okay with this?"

😂😑
Yes they do. Thankfully only been on one for a long time. Knew someone taking four different ones and not sure they ever helped them. Lo!

@Sojournersoul sheesh. Probably some risks mixing more than one or two dailys for one disorder.
@Notsimilarreally Agree. Would never want to take that many.

Holy shit. That's excessive and can't be good for you. They absolutely do push the meds like it's going to solve the problem. I worry that's too much 😔

@AlchemyFox very excessive! My primary eve called me after she heard and asked if I was sure I wanted to take all that.

And the pharmacist that gave them to me said that doctor tends to give alot of pills

They do.
Some of them think you can medicate the problems away and sadly it's just not as effective as moderation in medication with proper therapy.

I'm not bipolar, I have OCD and Depression. My brother is bipolar though.
