Anyone remember the old billboard signs warning about the use of drugs?

"Do drugs over there and you are in for the time of your life!" or, "This is your brain on drugs ", ( photo of a fried egg ) Somehow most of us survived the era of "Reefer madness" I was never keen on weed but loved LSD.

I remember that ad with Hal Holbrook "If you're busted for drugs over there, you're in for the hassle of your life"

Of course I never did get to go over to different countries you know but yeah I wasn't really into the major drug called her I had smoked marijuana a few times years later I do some edibles but that's about it. Oh I dug up that commercial....

@Disgustedman I think Turkey was one of the worst. Remember Brad Davis in "m "Midnight Express"? That movie really said it all.

@Grateful4you yeah I remember watching it and my mother did too and she said "What did you think about that movie?" I said "Well, kind of sucks that they made some damn drug smuggler a hero" she agreed

I remember people from the prison bringing some people by our elementary school to scare us straight. The kids were all like - "what's your favorite drug?" "What's acid really like?"

Yeah i remember that. I've been doing drugs on and off since my teens and now look at me. Like I've always said if i don't like my eggs raw why would i want my brain to be.

they were pretty influential commercials, though folks hate to admit it. In fact the "just say no" campaign....as embarrassing as it was was a real difference maker.
