I Hate Cigarettes

[center]WE ALL KNOW ABOUT THE HEALTH RISKS NOW.

But when I was a kid, not only was it not told, it was contradicted by the ads. I started smoking when I was eleven years old. I remember hating it, but it was the cool thing to do, and it was actually good for you.

I never liked the smell of a burning cigarettes, and I watched both parents die very young as a possible result of their smoking. I loved the smell of pipe smoke, and tried it. It didn't taste as good as it smelled, and I never did learn how to keep a pipe burning. When the pipe broke, I said that is it for smoking!
