Have you lost a very dear friend before

One of my oldest and most beloved friends died this morning. Liver cirrhosis. I can't believe the world just goes on. I went to Walmart, now I'm here online. The sun will set and rise and he is gone.

Sorry for your loss and Yes I have, a lady I worked with at the university. She was from Bulgaria. Every few months we'd get together with friends and go someplace for lunch. The last time we were planning to and trying to find a day when we all could get together and she passed away before that. Unexpected death, her life slipped away as she sat at her desk at home paying some bills.

@DanielChristensen: It's been 7 years now, when I was working at Walmart there was a customer who resembled her and I would get a pain in my heart each time I saw her.
