I'm a year and few months off of anything.. I used to smoke cigarettes like crazy and few joints almost daily. And occasionally getting drunk with alcohol. I was, proudly then, managing some days off. Despite that being the exception, I was fooling myself that I'm not a serious or addicted user.
The way I did it was tough as it cost me all of my friends. I've been hanging out with this circle of musicians and artsy ppl and travellers, that we'd gather in a couple of houses and smoke. It was great of course, but in order for me to move with my life, I had to leave them.
I began by smoking once a month. For something like 6 months, I would only smoke on a full moon. It turned into a powerful ritual where I would sit in silence, roll a HUGE joint buahahah and drift away for the night.. usually I'd go to a forest or nature, where it made more sense.
After a few months, a full moon came and I thought, okay, the fuck with it.
Ever since I've been challenged, especially meeting witty people, interesting kind of people, who praise the medicinal plant etc. I know myself and my path and I'm strong on it now. I set a different sail, but admittedly it's been tough. Be clear and strong on your reasoning. ⛵

@RedRogue It's unfortunately a little too intense to ignore most days but I'm gonna do my best to just work out and stretch my way through it. :) Also hopefully gonna be trying some botox for the spasticity in the next few months so fingers crossed haha.
