Cold Showers as a Punishment

As a kid or teen, my dad used to put me under a cold shower when I got angry about something. It was his way of teaching me that throwing fits does not get a kid or teen what they want.

I disagree that this is a good approach. Having a kid or worse a teenager strip naked as part of the punishment is humiliating. It is what they do in jails!
