Something I do not understand about 72 hour anti-perspirant

How can this be true?
Surely for such a claim to be valid, one would not be able to shower for 3 days?
I shower daily, washing underarms obviously.
So this is a false claim?

They market it as 72hr antiperspirant, but its for people who perspire excessively.

Its actually a condition - Hyperhidrosis

They have minute crystals, (usually types of salts i think), in them that absorb the moisture from the sweat.

Yes, basically thats what it does. It prolly would absorb the amount of sweat an average person would sweat in 72 hrs, but as Gusman mentioned, most people shower within that period.
But then again, some people dont.
Some working out in th me Bush or on other sites where water supply is low or restricted - they may not.
Chronically depressed people find it hard to shower everyday. So im sure theres a multitude of types of lives that need this type of antiperspirant.

On the other emd of the soectrumtyou get Asians that barely seem to sweat at all🤷‍♀

It's not necessarily a false claim, but it does raise the question why anybody would need it.
