boiled dried prunes

@Khenpal1 the key ingredient in prunes is boron. If a person is low on boron in their diet they’ll get constipated. Boron supplements are available, and not as expensive as using laxatives. For those who don’t want to eat sweet prunes this could be a good alternative.

@Khenpal1 boron is not a chemical, it is a mineral that prunes have in it

@cherokeepatti I don't see the problem. prunes (dried plums), are also loaded with boron. 100 grams of prunes provides you with 1.1mg's of boron, which is about 35% of the RDA. 100 g have around 10 grams of pectin and sorbitol which work as natural laxative . Anyway one will use like 3-4 prunes per day .

@Khenpal1 Well if a person is a diabetic or on a keto diet they can’t have that much concentrated sugar.

@cherokeepatti Isn't boron used in roach poison?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@DallasCowboysFan It’s not toxic to humans. What it does to roaches is dehydrate them when it’s mixed with sugar and ingested. I have a bottle of Triple Boron complex that I take sometimes. It is helpful for some who have joint pains.
