What’s good for minimizing after surgery scars?

I’m getting major surgery next month. The cut will be from the top of the stomach going all the way down to my lower abdomen.

@Harlow I recently had some cancer surgery and there was skin removal/ replacement. The doctors told me what steps to take. I think that’s your most prudent path.
