Do you think a lot of people now choose to be single?

Either that or their lifestyle is such that they haven't found a compatible partner. They used to be referred to as confirmed bachelors or spinsters, depending on the gender. Choosing the right spouse is the most important decision people make, and sometimes it goes wrong. And its a lot of work to keep a marriage in proper working order. More it seems than many are willing to do. Then again others did marry, had a horrible experience and never want to do it again. I also believe the online experience has damaged how people get together and makes being nearly perfect very important, and as we all know, nobody is perfect.
