Is being a virgin at 35 old fashioned?

Was just wondering if it's outdated and old fashioned of me to still be a virgin at 35? I ain't scared of losing my virginity at all because it's every ladies dream to lose her virginity and transit from a lady to a woman, but I am scared of losing it one man then later get dumped by that man then opt to another man. Because my desire is to lose it to just one man and that one man would be the one to spend eternity with me. Is it possible ?

Not old fashioned, really. Such things are individual choices and beyond criticism either way. The virgin part is the easy part; it's the second part that's a bit chancy, finding someone who you can predict will still be there 20, 30, 50 years from now.

I have a few classmate and family friends who became priests or joined religious orders. Half of them changed their minds along the way and are no longer. Of my married friends, the one I thought of as life-long sweethearts, about half disconnected/divorced along the way. Someone today may not be that same someone 25 years from now. I don't know if there is a way to do better than the 50-50 odds of what will be 20 years from now, or who someone will be 20 years from now.
