Forever More

She sat in the chilly breeze
Under the greyest of skies
Filled with such sorrow
That streamed from her eyes

Just like the willow
She swayed to and fro
Blowing in the wind
Sad with much woe

Watching with curiosity
The day embrace the night
How the night lights lit up
The stars in the sky so bright

Anguish in heart she sighed
Wishing to be released
From this earthly vessel
From the most common of beast

The chill sliced through her
Leaving her colder than before
Numb to happiness
Engulfed in pain forever more
