I'm Afraid That I'll Be Single Forever

I do not want to be single forever but I’m afraid there is no light at the end of the tunnel for me given my temperament
Empty promises made, but when push comes to shove ... 😑😑
I just hope that when I’m old or ill there is someone to accompany me to the doctor. Not too much to ask is it 🤔

Im 53 in a few days and am very ill and alone. All I have is a cat and no family. I had a wife, she later admitted that she only married me for my stable employment and was not really happy being married.

Family was a complicated and tragic story. I dont have any local friends since I had to move. I was diagnosed with a genetic bone disorder that has crippled me severely.

@trackboy everyone I knew had to leave town for school or to find jobs or have died. I never had many friends to begin with since I wasn't allowed friends until I was libing on my own.

@trackboy my grandparents believed that I was less thsn human because my mother was an unmarried minor when I was conceived. Things are different now than in my Grandparent's times.

@trackboy rent and electricity costs my entire income. I have to rely on foodbanks and begging for food. My cat is well cared for, I sometimes go hungry, but she always has her needs cared for.

@Anonymartyr tell teh landlord rent is eating you up and you cant afford food and you will kill him and his family if he does not lower the rent. no food stamp there??? use less electricity. 😺

@trackboy we dont have food stamps in Ontatio. We have food banks, but you don't get much food from them, almost never milk which I must have and its expensive here. Often I have to throw out mouldy breads or other stuff that was already going bad.
