I'm Afraid That I'll Be Single Forever
I’ve NEVER been able to say “yeah I crushed on him and now we’re dating” and to see all of my beautiful sisters go through many points in their lives of liking a guy and successfully starting relationships with them is mind boggling to me!! Like yes, I liked him and he liked me and we made ourselves a couple. It trips me out because I’ve mever ever had that. My stories are usually “yeah so I liked him but he had a girlfriend” which happens like 90% of the time... or “I liked him but I got friend zoned.” Or “I Only dated her cause I felt bad” and last but not least, my VERY favorite “I liked him but he went and dated my sister instead.”
It bugs me when I try to talk to my sister about my experiences of growing up the ugly duckling, she always shakes me off. “You’re not ugly, shut up!” Like yes I was! I did grow up the ugly duckling and you cannot deny that after what I’ve been through! To deny that is almost offensive! Just because you never had that struggle doesn’t mean it never existed! It didn’t exist for you! But it very well existed for me! I suffered and now you’re telling me that I suffered for basically no reason? Bullshit.
Anyway. I don’t know how that love stuff / romantic stuff feels so go ahead and laugh. I know I am.
