Is it a pattern?

Every single girl that i have had romantic interest or done something with always ends up being someone that has a fair deal of emotional baggage and trauma in their history. And it just does not end well, i seem to get shafted or get emotionally hurt in the process. It seems as thou i either attract these types of people or its just what fate has brought me.. Not sure what to make of it all. Maybe I look like a safe guy for these types and in some cases a great rebound for them in order to go back to others.

You were ignored by girls in school, and were never popular. Maybe, you have only recently began having romantic relationships. Due to your lack of popularity and success with girls during your teens and early twenties, you probably didn't have standards. This means that you dated girls who were looking to take advantage of your kind nature. You were eager to please and wanted to keep them. But, they are only looking to take advantage of you. This is what women do with men who are desperate to keep them.
