I don't know what is what? If you buy a brand new pair of Jeans from walmart...Wear it once and they rip on the outside of the pocket

You still have the tags and reciept and return them the next day? And they refuse the return because they were worn... Isn't there wear and tare? Who was in the right the costumer service clerk who refused to reemburse me, or should I have been given back my money?? I really don't know...What do you think?

I’d say technically they’re right in terms of the jeans being worn but I’d guess if you had a different customer service clerk or asked to speak with a manager you would have at least gotten a store credit.

@OlderSometimesWiser Don't you have the concepts of "of merchantable quality" and "fitness for purpose" in US consumer law? Anywhere in Europe you would expect a refund.
